İhsan Süreyya Sırma came together with our Faculty of Theology students and held a conference. At the conference, he shared his life experiences and gave important messages to young theologians. In his conference, he emphasized that students of the Faculty of Theology should grow up as individuals not only academically, but also with spiritual and ethical responsibilities. Stating that every student studying in the field of theology has a great responsibility on their shoulders, Sırma stated that this responsibility should not be limited to personal development only, but also their effects and contributions at the social level should be taken into consideration.

Sırma also advised young theologians to be prepared for the difficulties they will encounter in their professional lives and to always strive to seek the truth. He reminded that theologians have an important mission to enlighten the society they live in, fill spiritual gaps and guide people. He emphasized that acting with this responsibility is not only an academic effort but also a service provided for humanity.
